Anna Christ provides comprehensive advice on all matters of medical device law. She supports companies in the legally compliant implementation of the MDR, IVDR, MPDG and the MPBetreibV. A particular emphasis is on medical device software and AI-supported medical devices. She focusses on the delineation of regulatory roles as well as the assignment of respective responsibilities. Anna Christ has particular expertise in the field of medical device software. She concentrates primarily on the differentiation from conventional software, especially in the context of app and other digital applications in the field of healthcare and diagnostics. She also has in-depth-knowledge of AI-supported medical devices, in particular with regard to the requirements of the AI Act.

She also advises on data protection law issues and at the intersection with pharmaceutical advertising law and environmental product regulations such as disposable plastic regulations. Another key area of her work is advising companies on all aspects of veterinary medicine, in particular in the regulatory context of the EU Veterinary Medicinal Products Regulation.
